Prussia, Kingdom. A Warrior Merit Medal, C.1900 Auction The following November 11th(Krieger Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 1835 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1873 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, the reverse with an inscription of KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT), within a laurel wreath joined together at the bottom by a ribbon, unmarked, measuring 24. 74 mm in diameter, weighing 8. 2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
