Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse bearing a central silvered NSFK insignia, situated above a glider and inscription of NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS, topped by an inscription of ZIEL STRECKEN SEGELFLUG WETTBEWERB 1938, the reverse with a horizontal pinback emanating from a circular plate, maker marked BREHMER, MARKNEUKIRCHEN, measuring 34 mm (w) x 50 mm (h),
