This is a massive revolver with polished horn grips, used principally by the Mountain people of Montenegro, who at that time were considered Bandits. It is in a massive 11 mm caliber, as large as an Infantry rifle of the day. This Montegnegran style revolver is covered in line engraving on the cylinder and frame and was Nickel plated, much of which remains after well over 130 years. Multiple Makers and other markings
