This is quite early in style but probably dates from the early 1800's. It is a British Native Cavalry Lance head that was originally mounted of a eight or nine foot haft and carried on horse back giving the trooper a tremendous reach when attacking both foot soldiers or opposing cavalry units. It is made of forged iron and has a three sided substantial blade of 8 1 2" mounted onto a 6 1 2" hollow and tapered haft
