They did make a few SA daggers and HJ knives during the war

The reverse side of the pack has no straps remaining

Size is faintly stamped as 56 under the rear skirt

This is a fine quality manufactured early example of a Paratrooper Fallschrimjger badge, with a lovely patinated finish overall. The basic design is a zinc alloy half Oak Leaf and half Laurel Leaf wreath, with a gold painted "Diving Eagle" clutching a Swas (hook cross) in the middle. The eagle is attached to the wreath with two fully intact rivets. It features a steel needle style vertical pinback with a brass barrel
