Original U.S. Percussion Musket with Trade Lock by Ashmore and Springfield Musket Barrel c. 1835 Ammunition Of course the officersOriginal Item: Only One Available. This just came out of the attic after a hundred years of storage, together with a couple of hundred other guns. It is a full stocked Trade Musket, made using a trade lock by R. ASHMORE of ENGLAND, as marked on the lock plate over WARRANTED. The stock marked with the name E. BUELL, which may very well be the owner or the U. S. Gunsmith who created this most attractive Musket around 1835. The barrel is 39 1 2 inches
