This is a very nice German pre WWII SS Enlisted Man Non Commissioned Officer aluminum box belt buckle (Koppelschlo), clearly dated 1938 by the markings on the reverse. This is a well used example with plenty of period character, while still retaining strong detail to the raised design and a very clear RZM 822 38 marking. The buckle is of one piece cast aluminum alloy construction. The obverse features the
