This is a lovely set of souvenir items taken by a soldier stationed in Italy during and after WWII. They include an aluminum ashtray and a soldiers guide to the island of Sicily. The ashtray depicts mountains and a town with the text 1944 SOUVENIR ITALY. It still works great as an ashtray and measures 3 in diameter and tall. The soldiers guide to Sicily shows heavy use and measures 5 x 7. It is signed at the top
