This is a very nice genuine German WWII private purchase green glass wine or beer bottle, offered in excellent condition with the original porcelain top and swivel top wire bale. Typically clear glass was used for beer while green or brown glass would have been for wine, but this was not a hard and fast rule. The white porcelain stopper is nicely marked with the maker retailer on the top in brown: WENZEL NETZOLD &
