These are two very Sporting Gun powder flasks, purchased from an estate sale in England. Both date to the to the early 1800's, and are extremely decorative, being all made of Copper and Brass. These were a vital shooting accessory back in the time of Muzzle Loaders. One flask embossed with shell decoration, and is 7 inches in length. It has a functional spout stop, but it seems to be manually operated for both opening
