Description

HMCS Iroquois was a Tribal-class destroyer that served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and the Korean War

minor tarnishing and oxidation is evident to the medals

the obverse with a monogram of Friedrich August III inside of a laurel wreath

51 mm (w) x 50

We tried it out with a piece of cordite and it blew the charge high enough to hit the deck head - as witness the edge mark on the end of the charge itself

Germany, Dj. A Deutsches Jungvolk Member’s Belt Buckle Auction Archive HMCS Iroquois was a Tribal-class(Deutsches Jungvolk Grtelschnalle). Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised gilt Sig rune, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), some scratching and oxidation is evident to the metal, with corrosion hindering the movement of the attachment claws, in very fine condition.
