Bergenia ciliata 'Dixter Form', Great Dixter form Fringed Bergenia dry to wet Well-behaved and obliging in termsOne of the most impressive Bergenia with HUGE (12 in diameter) rounded, supple leaves with a furry surface ("ciliata") surround short red stalks with clusters of soft pink flowers, each containing a spritz of beautifully protruding white anthered red stamens a distinctive feature of this flower. Mid spring bloom. Serving suggestion: contrast with Hakonechloa grass or Himalayan maidenhair (Adiantum venustum). Needs intermittent water if grown in shade
