Here we have a lovely late 18th Century German hunting pistol, originally made as a flintlock but later converted to the superior cap lock system, as with many arms of the time. It is not signed, perhaps with the markings lost at the time of conversion to the percussion cap system. It features exceptional quality embossed decorative GERMAN NICKEL SILVER mounts of Butt Cap, Trigger Guard, Side plate, Escutcheon and
