This is a very nice example of the very rare Japanese WWII canvas sling used by paratroopers. This type of sling was used on early Type 99 Arisaka rifles and the famous TERA Type 2 take down paratrooper rifle, which was based on the Type 99. The sling has very heavy staining but is still entirely solid without any breakage and the keeper is retained at one end. Both hooks are in good condition with scratching and
