A large Kriegsmarine issue National War Ensign, constructed of a cotton twill base, featuring a double sided dyed design consisting of a black, white, and red tri colour base defaced by an Iron Cross, the hoist edge reinforced with an extra layer of white cotton twill featuring a hollow channel retaining an original rope for pole attachment, the former stamped with a Kriegsmarine issue mark, inscription of
