A Custom Official's Two-Prong Open-Claw Belt Buckle By F.w. Assmann; Published Hold 1915 in IrelandIn mold injected aluminum, maker marked with the stylized Assmann "A" (F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid) on the reverse, measuring 46. 3 mm x 62. 5 mm, lightly worn, better than extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 60 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
