Dasylirion leiophyllum Guadalupe Patrinia starting in mid-September(aka: Dasylirion leiophyllum KJS 356) This seed strain of Dasylirion leiophyllum (leiophyllum = smooth leaves) comes from a Kenton Seth expedition into the Guadalupe Mountains on the Texas New Mexico border further north than our 2000 accession from the Fort Davis area. Dasylirion leiophyllum forms an evergreen 4' tall x 4' wide, deer resistant, solitary specimen. Although the glaucous green leaves are smooth, the leaf edges are armed with small
