This is a wonderful M1938 dispatch map case with its original shoulder strap. Nicely stamped U. S. M. C. on interior as is correct. No maker mark that we can find. The map case retains the insert with the grid. The lift the dot snaps are intact and in good shape. There is no map insert, nor is there a maker mark or date we could find. Comes ready to display.
