This is a very nice Army Officer's Dagger, produced by the well known Solingen based firm of F. W. Hller, Waffenfabrik (Weapons Factory), a highly desirable maker of edged weapons. The fittings on this dagger look to be all silver plated over aluminum base metal, which has oxidized causing a lot of flaking. There is also a professionally engraved set of initials on the rear of the crossguard, reading A. St., most
