This early war example in Tombak shows frosted finish on silver maltese cross. Sharp details to contours and pebbles to internal cross arms. Pin back and maker stamped as issued 1 (Deschler & Son of Munich). Comes in the original fitted case, showing silver fascimilie of cross to case lid.
