Original Victorian Belgian Pinfire Revolver Issued to Customs House, Harwich in Holster - c.1860 Category_MG 42 Bolt & Barrel Assembly Complete in an all leatherOriginal Item: Only One Available. This interesting little revolver dates to the 1860s, when the "NEW" Pin fire Cartridge was becoming the rage. Small six shot revolver in approximately 7mm caliber with folding trigger. The Pinfire system required the hammer to hit a post sticking out of the side of the cartridge, which moved into the cartridge's center igniting the charge. The hammer face was therefore flat and fell upon the top of the open top
