This mount bolts up to the sub frame where the exhaust bolts up to. We designed this mount for those of you who want a whip mount that is out of the way of the rider and can be left on the bike at all times. There is no drilling or modification of the bike of any kind. All necessary hardware is included. This whip mount will also fit on the 2007 2009
