Pete Hogan, Custom House & Liberty Hall compost topsoil dublin 60 warm white LED lightsOld meets new in this watercolour and ink drawing from 2008. It's an unusual juxtaposition of buildings, the long low 18th Century Custom House by James Gandon, adjacent to what was once Ireland's tallest building, Liberty Hall. The Custom House is regarded by many archiectural historians as one of Dublin's finest buildings. Liberty Hall, on the other hand, built in 1964, is more controversial, and was granted permission for demolition in 2012.
