Artisans in rural Japans Iwate prefecture reuse by products of local charcoal production, in an environmentally friendly dye process Nanbusumi Zome, which produces a soft coal grey, at the same time imparting charcoals antibacterial qualities to the fabric. 100% cotton, cloth measures approximately 35cm x 43cm Gentle hand wash. Made in Japan.
