It is beautifully painted on canvas with an original 19th century thick gilt frame too. There is a tear in the painting which has been restored and repaired and I love the faded elegance of this too, but this is not hugely visible unless viewed up close. Please see all images attached. The gilt frame is chipped in places with a faded rustic
